The Radiologic Technologist conducts high-quality diagnostic radiological examinations for patients as ordered by healthcare providers. Patients can range from infants and adolescents to adults and the addition to performing imaging exams the Technologist is also qualified to carry out other radiological procedures within their licensure scope such as EKGs and Dexa bone scans.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Accurately executes imaging exams as requested by Physicians/Providers and presents the results for review.
- Administers EKGs and shares the findings with Physicians/Providers for evaluation.
- Applies critical thinking skills effectively identifying and responding appropriately to urgent situations.
- Maintains daily records and keeps the department organized and orderly.
- Safeguards the confidentiality of customer medical records while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Utilizes imaging and electronic medical record (EMR) systems proficiently.
- Performs routine checks on systems and documents findings as needed.
- Conducts regular quality control testing on a daily weekly and monthly basis.
- Engages professionally with Providers co-workers customers and families.
- Accepts additional tasks as assigned to help achieve the organizations goals.
Team members are expected to demonstrate proficiency in the required skills listed for their positions. They should actively maintain and improve their skill set as well as embrace any new training outlined in the skills list. Additionally they must comply with all legal regulatory accrediting and procedural requirements relevant to their responsibilities.

**Education:**
- High school diploma or equivalent Required
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Required
**Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities:**
- 1-5 years of experience in Radiologic Technology Required
- Fluoroscopy experience Required
- Surgical experience Required
**Licensure and Certification:**
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist Required
- BLS Certification Required
