• Owning and executing the enterprise-wide data strategy ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.

• Leading data governance initiatives including compliance and ethical use while embedding data as a strategic asset.

• Leading a virtual Data Centre of Excellence fostering cross-functional collaboration.

• Driving the adoption of modern data platforms and technologies (e.g. cloud-native real-time streaming AI/ML-ready environments).

• Collaborating with engineering and architecture teams to design and implement scalable data architectures.

• Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders translating business needs into actionable data solutions.

• Foster organisational buy-in for the data strategy and driving its effective implementation across the fir.

• Establishing and maintaining structured ways of working including documentation process governance and performance tracking.

About you

• You have a proven track record in senior data leadership roles within complex IT or technology-driven organisations.

• You bring deep expertise in data governance architecture and engineering principles with a strong focus on enabling scalable technology solutions and AI driven innovation.

• You are hands-on with modern data platforms such as Databricks Collibra Denodo or similar.

• You are a structured and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.

• You are an excellent communicator able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• You hold a relevant degree in Computer Science Data Science Information Systems or equivalent through experience.

• You are fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
