Job Summary
Urgent Team is looking for an experienced Credentialing Onboarding Specialist to join our corporate office in Nashville TN. This position is located in Green Hills and will work a typical Monday-Friday schedule. A hybrid schedule may be possible after training.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the daily on-boarding functions for all physicians and midlevel providers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for Onboarding all new physicians and midlevel provider
Responsible for requesting all documents & forms that require signatures are received from providers in time frame required
Responsible for pulling UCA required documents
Responsible for handling the Collab agreement process for each state
Responsible for setting up new providers in the credentialing system(Echo One/Symed)
Responsible for making sure that the new providers have access to the provider portal (Echo One/Symed)
Responsible for obtaining & updating CAQH information for the new providers
Responsible for EMR information being submitted to correct parties in order for new providers to have access
Responsible for requesting & obtaining COI for new providers
Responsible for keeping communication spreadsheet with new provider information updated
Responsible for notifying HR & management that providers have complete/cleared the Onboarding process
WHATS REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year experience in medical or related field with a thorough understanding of provider credentialing and provider onboarding
Excellent writing and communication skills
Good organizational and project management ability
Comfortable extracting and formatting data for ad hoc report requests
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
