Social Worker - Contract
Location:Steger IL
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW).
State licensure as a School Social Worker.
Experience working with children in an educational setting.
Knowledge of child development and behavior management strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Description
Provide emotional social and academic support to students.
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address issues affecting student performance.
Respond to crises and provide appropriate interventions and support.
Work closely with teachers administrators and parents to develop strategies to help students succeed.
Identify and refer students and families to appropriate community resources for additional support.
Maintain accurate records and document all counseling sessions and interventions.
