Were looking for a Non-CDL Truck Driver to safely deliver building materials to our customers while representing Koopman Lumber with professionalism. Youll play a critical role in ensuring materials arrive on time and in excellent condition contributing directly to customer satisfaction. What Youll Do - As part of our team youll:
- Safely transport building materials to specified destinations in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Yard Dispatcher for delivery instructions route adjustments and issue resolution.
- Communicate effectively with sales staff regarding job site delivery questions or discrepancies.
- Secure cargo using cleats and load straps; adjust and re-secure during stops as necessary.
- Operate vehicle power gates to load unload or distribute materials efficiently.
- Assist in manually loading and unloading trucks when required.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately including customer signatures and proof-of-delivery photos via phone app.
- Log returned goods picked up from job sites.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections maintain proper fluid levels and complete pre- and post-trip inspection reports via phone app.
- Keep trucks clean and presentable including weekly washing and sweeping.
- Maintain accurate fuel logs and submit daily.
- Represent Koopman Lumber professionally at all times while on the road and at job sites.
