Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Duration: 3 Months (Extendable)
Shift: 10-hour shifts Wednesdays off 1 Saturday per month 7:00 AM 5:30 PM

Compensation: $62/hour

Job Summary:Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Mammography Technologist for an exciting Travel and/or Local job in The Woodlands TX.

Responsibilities:

Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient and patient-centered manner.
Conduct daily weekly and monthly quality control (QC) testing for mammography equipment.
Assess patients condition medical history and individual needs to determine appropriate examination techniques.
Educate and prepare patients for mammography including explaining breast compression and positioning.
Safely immobilize patients as needed to obtain optimal imaging results.
Ensure proper operation of mammography and biopsy equipment; promptly report any malfunctions.
Maintain accurate records of QC testing and procedure documentation.
Adhere to safety and regulatory standards while delivering high-quality diagnostic images.

Required Skills:

Proficiency with Epic EMR.
Strong procedural and patient care skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of mammography quality control (QC) practices.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

Active Mammography Technologist License (Texas State).
ARRT Certification in Mammography.
