About the Role:

Were seeking a Lead Policy to drive innovative plan design initiatives and lead strategic policy development across CAATs multi-jurisdictional pension landscape. This is a senior-level role that blends policy expertise with stakeholder engagement research and cross-functional collaboration.

The Lead Policy role is critical to shaping the future of our pension offerings and ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and organizational priorities.

As the Newest Member of our Team Youll:

  • Lead the development of policy recommendations and plan design initiatives from concept to implementation support.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support policy decisions and stakeholder consultations.
  • Coordinate research deliverables to ensure timely delivery of policy projects.
  • Provide strategic advice and risk-based thinking to guide plan design changes.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Member Services Employer Services Communications and IT to ensure alignment and support execution.
  • Review and contribute to communications training materials forms and updates to the Plan Text.
  • Represent the Plan Design team in internal meetings and lead consultations independently.
  • Support CAATs broader innovation and growth strategy through policy leadership.

To Succeed You Bring:

  • 10 years of experience including 5 years in pension policy financial services product development or related policy roles.
  • Strong understanding of pension and income tax legislation and multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills with experience drafting and/or reviewing policies directives and prescribed documents.
  • Proven project management and facilitation skills including leading stakeholder meetings and consultations.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to evaluate complex policy issues with sound judgment.
  • Confidence and independence to lead conversations and drive initiatives.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across departments and with diverse internal stakeholders.
  • A College Diploma or University Degree; PPAC CEBSCBP or post-grad credentials are preferred.
