We are looking for a Finance and Accounts Executive who is detail-oriented resourceful and able to work independently. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy compliance and supporting business decision-making across our entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop financial plans budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze financial data to guide investment and resource allocation.
- Financial Management
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance providing recommendations for improvements.
- Manage cash flow and mitigate financial risks to ensure operational stability.
- Accounting Operations
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records statements and reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct reconciliations and ensure accuracy in accounting records.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (SG PH MY and other relevant jurisdictions).
- Support audits and ensure adherence to company policies and local accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Residing in Johor Bahru
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- At least 23 years of experience in accounting audit or finance roles.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero QuickBooks MYOB).
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver results.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with multi-country teams.
