Responsibilities: Candidates will have the ability to either work in a setting that will allow them to perform work on electrical mechanical hydraulics pneumatics or welding. Work may involve setting up machinery and equipment tearing down and overhauling equipment such as gear boxes.

Job Tasks:

Inspect operate or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage defects or wear.

Test mechanical to ensure proper functioning.

Dismantle machines equipment or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools or power tools.

Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair. Operate hoists or other moving or lifting equipment.

Perform routine maintenance such as inspecting drives motors or belts checking fluid levels replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance.

Inspect mechanical components to identify problems.

Replace worn damaged or defective mechanical parts.

Trouble shoot electrical controls and components and repair as needed.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
General mathematics ability required to perform job
Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
