This senior leadership role is ideal for a healthcare food service executive who thrives in a union environment and is passionate about operational excellence innovation and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations for food and nutrition services including retail dining patient meal services and catering operations.
- Ensure the highest quality of food nutrition and hospitality services across the 609-bed hospital.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with client goals and hospital standards.
- Manage budgets financial targets and cost-control initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong client and customer relationships including executive-level (C-suite) engagement.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain strict standards for HACCP and food safety.
- Lead mentor and develop a diverse team of managers and frontline staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (required).
- 5 years of management experience in food and nutrition services ideally in a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated success in union management and labor relations.
- Strong financial acumen with a proven ability to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Excellent leadership team-building and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office reporting tools and operational systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a customer-first mindset.
