Job Summary
Job Title: PRN/As-Needed PreOp and PACU Nurse
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated PRN/As-Needed PreOp and PACU Nurse to provide high-quality care in the preoperative and post-anesthesia care units. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy flexibility while supporting the surgical team and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care in the PreOp and PACU units according to established protocols.
Assess monitor and document patient status before and after surgical procedures.
Administer medications treatments and interventions as prescribed.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Educate patients and families on perioperative and post-anesthesia care.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Colorado.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferably in perioperative or PACU nursing.
Ability to work PRN/As-Needed with a minimum of 3 shifts every 45 days.
Strong attention to detail critical thinking and patient care skills.
Knowledge of perioperative nursing protocols and patient safety standards.
Compensation & Posting Details:
Hiring Range: $38.00 $47.50 per hour depending on education and experience.
- Eligible for PRN shift differential.
Posting Open Until: September 30 2025 or until filled.
