The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Facilities Technical Designer (Level 2) to support the Facilities Maintenance team onsite in Portland Oregon.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepares simple design drawings and basic construction documents
Participates in drafting statements of work and develops basic work packages
Creates acquires modifies supports or disposes of commercial equipment single system and/or multiple subsystems assets
Researches and applies basic code requirements
Supports configuration of asset management and the preparation of design criteria and specifications
Participates in the commissioning of a new or modified asset and responds to routine maintenance/operator questions related to assets
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1 years of experience using Microsoft Office Products such as Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
1 years of experience with one of the following 3D drafting software and its use in structural design or analysis (CATIA AutoCAD ProE)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in Aerospace Fabrication or manufacturing environment
