Job Summary

The Duxbury Public Schools is looking for a monitor to assist a middle school student on their rides to and from school. This position would be for up to 6 hours per week. Anticipated schedule is:

Friday 7:30 - 8:20 AM and Monday - Friday 2:45 - 3:40 PM (exact times may vary depending on bus route)

The responsibilities would include:

Riding the bus with elementary-aged student to provide reinforcement for expected student behaviors
Collaborating regularly with the Administrators to ensure student safety on the bus
Help student to remain calm and safe during transportation
Build a positive rapport with staff and students connected with transportation
Communicate any happenings during the ride to DPS Staff within the same day
