GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
At the Wyoming Attorney Generals Office we strive to provide quality legal services to state agencies to effect better outcomes for Wyoming citizens. Attorneys in our office develop their legal skills in a collaborative environment while doing interesting and meaningful work and maintaining a work-life balance.
The Wyoming Attorney Generals Office is seeking an attorney to join its Civil Division. The attorney in this position will provide legal advice and litigation services to multiple state agencies which may include the Secretary of State Board of Nursing and multiple other licensing agencies. This position may also provide additional legal support of our office including evaluating election complaints and reviewing non-profit dissolutions. This position will also perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the Civil Division and the Attorney Generals Office.

- Analyze complicated legal and factual issues and present complicated issues clearly in written and oral form.
- Review respond and advise the agency as to inquiries complaints and other communications.
- Conduct legal research to provide day-to-day advice.
- Present legal conclusions and advice in various formats including legal documents oral presentations and formal and informal legal opinions.
- Advise agency clients with respect to relevant statutes and administrative procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
Juris Doctorate.

- Salary is commensurate with relevant legal experience
- Successful applicants are required to pass a criminal background investigation
- This is an at-will position. The attorney will be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Attorney General (Wyo. Stat. Ann.)
