Our Transportation Planner plays a key role in ensuring our products move efficiently and reliably across the supply chain.

How you will make contributions that matter...

Plan transportation accordingly for all truckload and LTL orders for assigned shipping locations routing shipments to accommodate delivery requirements of each individual customer load.
Identify opportunities to consolidate orders into multi-stop truckloads.
Provide first class quality transportation services for both internal and external customers.
Arrange carriers for pickup of purchased and interplant movements to Saputo Distribution Centers.
Work closely with customer service representatives plant and DC personnel & carriers to resolve service issues.
Proactively find ways to prevent and/or continuously improve carrier performance.
Resolve any carrier issues i.e. rerouting loads in transit related issues support overage shortage damage (OS&D) etc.
Develop strong Customer Service and carrier relationships to support business process improvements and issue resolution.
Assist in investigation of overage shortage and damaged (OS&D) occurrences. Work closely with transportation providers to determine disposition of product.

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have The Following Experience Skills and Qualifications..

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Business or equivalent experience.
Experience in transportation operations; CPG industry experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Transportation Mangement System (TMS) and SAP; experience with either is preferred.
Strong communication analytical and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
A collaborative mindset and ability to build relationships across all levels.

Salary Range: $60135 to $78930

Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience educations skills and training

The position follows a hybrid work schedule with three days onsite and two days remote based out of our Wauwatosa WI office.
