Job Title: IT System Analyst Insurance

Assignment Type: 6-Month Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT System Analyst with strong insurance and healthcare industry expertise to support a Health Plan project. The analyst will serve as a technical and analytical resource responsible for designing developing and maintaining custom applications that support business processes. This role acts as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders gathering requirements defining scope and ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to define requirements scope and objectives for application development.
• Analyze business processes and recommend system solutions that improve efficiency and compliance.
• Develop enhance and maintain custom applications according to established standards and best practices.
• Work with healthcare payment systems and related applications (e.g. AMISYS Advance).
• Conduct testing troubleshooting and system integration to ensure quality and performance.
• Prepare technical documentation workflows and user guides.
• Support project planning timelines and deliverables while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Provide subject matter expertise in healthcare insurance processes and payment systems.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree OR equivalent of 2 additional years of related work experience.
• Experience: 2 5 years in similar IT System Analyst or Business Analyst roles preferably within healthcare insurance.
• Strong understanding of healthcare insurance payment systems and processes (AMISYS Advance experience preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis project management support and systems integration.
