Position : Data Scientist
Duration : Starts on a minimum of 12 months contract (This will be extended next year)
Location : Juno Beach FL Onsite
Mode of Interview : 1st round virtual 2nd /final round could be onsite for a meet and greet (not yet confirmed.)
Job Description
Were looking for a seasoned Data Scientist to join our team in Juno. This role is crucial for our strategic planning and market analysis as youll be responsible for investigating and documenting tariffs monitoring market conditions and integrating new data sources. A key part of your work will involve developing and enhancing predictive models using historical data analytics to forecast market trends. We need a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience and a strong background in financial data market analysis and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and document tariffs and trade regulations to understand their impact on business operations.
- Monitor market conditions and trends providing insights to support decision-making.
- Integrate new data sources into our existing systems to enrich our analytical capabilities.
- Develop and enhance predictive models using historical data to forecast market behavior and identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply data-driven insights to business challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
- Proven experience with financial data market analysis and strategic planning.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation analysis and model development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL for managing and querying large datasets.
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualization and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
