Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist (Web Development Google Ads SEO)
Type: Full-time Independent Contractor (3-Month Contract)
Location: Remote (Preference for South Africa or Latin America time zones)
Work hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM US Eastern Time
The Role
Were seeking a blended digital marketing specialist with both technical and growth skills to support our marketing initiatives over a 3-month engagement. This role will rotate focus each monthbeginning with web development then moving into Google Ads and finally SEO.
Youll be responsible for building high-performing web assets launching paid search campaigns and strengthening our SEO foundation to drive measurable lead generation and visibility.
Engagement Plan
Month 1 Web Development
Build or optimize high-intent landing pages (WordPress or Webflow preferred).
Implement Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) tracking.
Improve site performance mobile responsiveness and overall user experience.
Month 2 Google Ads
Plan launch and manage paid search campaigns (brand non-brand).
Create ad copy set up conversion tracking and manage budgets effectively.
Continuously optimize campaigns to improve CPL (cost-per-lead) and conversions.
Month 3 SEO
Conduct a technical and on-page SEO audit.
Implement high-priority fixes (site structure schema internal linking).
Develop content briefs targeting mid- and bottom-funnel keywords.
What Success Looks Like
By the end of the 3-month contract success will be measured by:
At least one production-ready landing page shipped and live.
Accurate conversion tracking firing across all web assets and ads.
Active Google Ads campaigns delivering measurable results.
Improved SEO health and keyword visibility for priority terms.
About You
Were looking for a T-shaped digital marketerbroadly skilled across digital channels but able to dive deep when needed.
Must-Haves:
3 years of experience across web development Google Ads and SEO.
Proficiency in WordPress or Webflow with basic HTML/CSS skills.
Hands-on experience setting up GA4 GTM event tracking.
Proven track record managing Google Ads campaigns and reporting on results.
Strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO (no black-hat tactics).
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience writing conversion-focused copy for landing pages.
Familiarity with email marketing or CRM integrations.
Prior experience with professional services or coaching/consulting brands.
