Purpose Of The Job:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and connected Commercial Vehicle New Sales Manager to lead their established and motivated sales team. This role is focused on deal-making and business growth leveraging industry relationships and networks to increase market share. The staff are experienced driven and long-standing team members who require supervision and strategic guidance rather than hands-on training. The ideal candidate will come from a premium commercial vehicle background (Scania Mercedes-Benz Volvo Trucks or similar) and bring strong connections within the industry.
Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise the new commercial vehicle sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets
- Drive business development and deal-making through established industry contacts and networking
- Develop and implement strategies to grow market share and expand the dealerships commercial vehicle footprint
- Oversee customer relationship management to ensure excellent client retention and satisfaction
- Monitor sales performance prepare reports and present results to senior management
- Support sales executives in negotiations for high-value deals when required
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies manufacturer standards and industry regulations
Requirements:- Proven experience in commercial vehicle sales management preferably with Scania Mercedes-Benz or Volvo Trucks
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in same or similar role as commercial vehicle new sales manager in a dealership environment
- Strong industry network and ability to leverage relationships to generate new business
- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership supervision and motivational skills
- Excellent negotiation communication and relationship-building abilities
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset
- Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
