JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Dr. Janette Watkins research laboratory within the Department of Kinesiology College of Health and Human Development at University Park Campus is seeking a part-time sport scientist to support research efforts conducted in local gyms around Bloomington Indiana. This role involves coordinating on-site data collection assisting with grant and manuscript preparation and providing general support for ongoing research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and conduct on-site data collection in participating gyms.
Assist with the preparation of research grants and manuscripts.
Support general research activities and project organization.
Collaborate with research team members to ensure smooth project operations.
Qualifications:
Background in sport science exercise science kinesiology or related field.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in community-based settings.
Experience with data collection and research processes preferred.
