Activities Assistant The Phoenix Post Acute
Do you enjoy bringing joy laughter and purpose to the lives of others We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our this role youll help plan organize and lead engaging programs and events that enrich the daily lives of our residents.
Responsibilities
Assist the Activities Director in planning and implementing daily weekly and monthly activity calendars.
Lead group and one on one activities such as games crafts music exercise outings and special events.
Encourage resident participation while being mindful of individual needs abilities and preferences.
Help transport and escort residents safely to and from activities.
Maintain accurate attendance records and assist with activity documentation.
Foster a warm welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes socialization and quality of life.
Assist with decorating event set-up and creating a fun lively atmosphere in the community.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (CNA or prior activities experience a plus but not required).
Compassionate patient and enthusiastic personality with strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Creativity and a passion for making a positive impact in residents lives.
Ability to lift bend and assist with resident mobility as needed.
Must pass background check and health screening requirements.
Schedule & Benefits
Full-time or part-time positions available.
