Spectrum Healthcare Resources is actively hiring a Part-time civilian Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide Urgent Care services at the Dumfries Ambulatory Health Center in Dumfries Virginia. This is a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality patient-centered care to active-duty service members veterans and their families in the National Capital Region all within a collaborative and well-resourced clinical setting.

Flexible Schedule

• Full OR Part-Time 16 or 40 hpw

• Urgent Care Hours: MF: 7:00 AM8:00 PM Sat: 8:00 AM2:00 PM

Role Expectations

• Provide fast-paced care at 23 patients per hour

• Deliver treatment within the clinics BLS-level scope

• Work as an extension of Ft. Belvoirs Emergency Department patients requiring higher-level care are seamlessly transferred

• Collaborate with seasoned physicians and experienced clinical leadership

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program OR Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nursing program

• Any active U.S. state license

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner (Family Medicine)

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications

• Active DEA registration
