Job Summary
As our Inside Applications Specialist youll be the go-to expert supporting our sales force and field specialists driving product excellence and customer satisfaction from the lab to full-scale implementation.
What Youll Achieve with Us
- Become the expert. Deliver product presentations demos and conduct studies to support customer applications.
- Portfolio knowledge. Develop end to end knowledge of Sartorius offerings to support the commercial organization in North America.
- Design smarter solutions. Analyze customer processes and support the development of solutions for their specific process.
- Solve real problems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing customers.
- Shape the future. Gather and analyze product performance data and customer feedback to influence product development.
- Know the competition. Report on competitor products and market trends to keep us ahead of the curve.
- Educate and inspire. Support internal and external training events that build trust and excitement.
- Conduct Trials. Leverage Sartoriuss portfolio to generate application data for customer evaluations.
What Will Convince Us
- Bachelors degree in biological engineering biotechnology or a related life sciences field
- 2 years of industry experience with bioprocessing applications and technologies
- 1 year experience Process Development pilot plant or tech-transfer experience with an emphasis in downstream bioprocessing is preferred
- Familiarity with lab equipment single-use technologies and bioprocessing workflows
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Confidence in interfacing with cross-functional teams and management
- A customer-first mindset and a passion for problem-solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
