Job Summary
Position Requirements:
- Must hold a validNew York State (NYS) certificationas a Reading Teacher or Literacy Specialist.
Role Overview:
The Reading Specialist providesresearch-based reading interventionsto accelerate learning for students performingone or more grade levels belowtheir expected reading level. This role is essential in supporting literacy development across all grade levels from Kindergarten through Grade 8.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliversmall group instructiontailored to individual student needs in reading and literacy.

- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support literacy instruction and student achievement.
