What You Will Do

As a Product Research Intern with Trimble you will contribute to a dynamic team of product & design research professionals assisting with a broad spectrum of customer research activities that inform Trimbles cross-product strategies and new technology initiatives such as AI.

You will be working within the NZ arm of a global team collaborating with members across multiple locations and you will gain practical experience in a range of customer and strategic research areas:

Collaborate with design and product teams to translate research insights into actionable recommendations
Contribute to the creation of research reports and presentations
Assist the research team in identifying user needs and market trends
Support customer research methods such as interviews surveys and usability testing
Help analyze research data and synthesize findings
Support the team in understanding customer pain points and opportunities.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Curiosity and a passion for understanding people their context and why they do what they do
Currently studying a diploma or bachelors in a design market research or customer research-related field
Some experience or study in Voice of Customer or Qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies
Good communication skills with the ability to tell human stories
An ability to tell stories visually through graphs or graphics
Some interest in user-centered design principles and practices
Familiarity with research tools (e.g. survey platforms data analysis software) is helpful but not essential.
