Job Summary
Role: Travel Respiratory Therapist
Location: Chicago IL
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12 hour nights (7pm to 7am)
Schedule: 36 hours per week/3 days
Pay breakdown:
- Hourly rate - $53.00 $15.00 taxable $38.00 non-taxable
- OT rate - $79.50
- Weekly Gross - $1908.00 $540.00 taxable $1368.00 stipend
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT)
The Respiratory Therapist provides diagnostic therapeutic and emergency respiratory care to patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role involves performing respiratory treatments managing ventilators monitoring patient status and collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver safe effective and compassionate care. The RT works across critical care emergency and general care settings to improve patient respiratory function and overall outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RT experience required
- BLS ACLS PALS & NRP certification required
- CRT or RRT certification required
- IL state license required
