Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Location: Morgantown WV
- Contract: 13 weeks ASAP start
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week; call/late shifts required
- Stipend: $1246/week; Total weekly pay $3265
- Call Requirements: 1 2 shifts/week plus every 3rd or 4th weekend; possible holiday call; 30-minute call back time
- Certifications Required: ARRT(R) BLS
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Cardiac/Vascular Interventional Lab; proficiency in at least 2 specialties
- Preferred Experience: Vascular IR and high-level Neuro IR experience (cerebrals coiling kyphoplasty spine work stroke therapy carotid stenting)
- Radiation Badge: Must be provided by agency
- Scrubs: Provided by facility
- Licensing/Location Requirements: Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from facility; previous perm or travel staff must meet time-away requirements
- Core Duties:
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data
- Maintain sterile technique and assist in procedure preparation
- Monitor ECG and blood pressure document and advise physician
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergent procedures
- Assist as code team during emergencies
- Accurately document procedures and billing
- Participate in departmental education inventory management and performance improvement
- Instruct radiography students as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Submission Guidelines:
- Only 1 submission at a time in WVU system
- Travel teams submit together; max 2 candidates per opening
- Additional unit-specific requirements may apply
