Job Summary

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source candidates using Internet resources social mediaemployee referrals headhunting techniques and other creative methods.
    Participate in the selection and contact with external agencies and staffingfirms as needed.
  • Responsible for interviewing testing andreferring applicants for all positions throughout the company.
  • Considerable skill in interviewingtechniques and a good knowledge of all specialized functions in the company aswell as policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employmentpractices.
  • Work with hiring managers to determinespecific needs of each position
  • Ability to analyze the information providedon a prospective employees resume conduct a personal interview and determinethe suitability of the applicant for employment which may include backgroundreference checks prior employment references transcripts etc. to gainadequate information on which to base a selection decision taking intoconsideration previous experience education etc.
  • In cases where an applicant is judgedunqualified tactfully turn the applicant away.
  • Schedule all interviews
  • Act as liaison with employment agencies
  • Post jobs to all posting sites
  • Maintain employee Referral record
  • Complete weekly report on employmentactivity and maintain Employment Variance Report
  • Track spending related to talent acquisition and make recommendationson how to best use resources
    Develop/Maintain relationships with professional organizations and othersources of applicant referral.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System to efficiently process and trackcandidates

Requirements:

  • 2 to 4 years of professional level recruiting experience is required
  • Technology industry recruiting is required (IT industry is preferred)
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • The candidate must possess a strong understanding and appreciation of adiverse work environment and have demonstrated initiatives for recruiting fordiversity.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Internet
  • Strong experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required.
  • Strong experience with candidate sourcing using internet tools such asLinkedIn job boards social media and search engines
