Summary

In accordance with instructions specifications and standards sets up and operates non-destructive testing equipment which shall include but is not limited to x-ray tensile testing fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle equipment radiation gages and other related equipment necessary to the performance of the task.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • In accordance with instructions specifications and standards sets up and operates non-destructive testing equipment which shall include but is not limited to x-ray tensile testing fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle equipment radiation gages and other related equipment necessary to the performance of the task.
  • Processes radiographs recognizes and interprets all types of flaws does film processing and reading. Must be able to recognize and prevent film handling artifacts.
  • Packs stamps moves and ships materials and parts.
  • Job requires proficiency in operation of all types of x-ray equipment.
  • May perform all necessary paperwork pursuant to the task.
  • May perform in-process inspection.
  • May check and top off lubricants as necessary.

You Must Have

  • US Citizenship able to obtain and maintain US DOE Qlevel security clearance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work any shift
