Job Summary
True North Classical Academy is growing with locations in Kendall and Pinecrest. Our highly rated school is known across Florida for its dual emphasis on rigorous academics and character development. With this foundation of success were excited to grow our Early Learning Centers for infants through VPK. We are seeking nurturing patient and creative early childhood educators to join our team and inspire our youngest learners.
Experience:
1-2 year experience working as a Lead or Teacher or Assistant in an Early Childhood education setting.
- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or FCCP
- Must be VPK Certified
- Must hold or be eligible for a Professional Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood
- Proficiency in English is essential with strong skills in instructing communicating and engaging young learners effectively
- First Aid and CPR Certified
- Completed 45 hours of childcare training through the Department of Children and Families (DCF)
- Ability to pass a Level II background check
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Flexible creative and adaptive to individual learning needs
- A nurturing patient personality focused on creating a supportive engaging environment for young learners
Work Schedule
- Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
