About the Company: A web start-up offering restaurant listings and reviews with a key differentiation from the current players in the market. We are a small and cohesive team that consists of graduates from Cornell Harvard and MIT with relevant industry experience in US and India. And most importantly we are all very passionate about everything food and technology and are trying to create a young and dynamic team and together we are trying to revolutionize the dining experience in offer a great learning platform where failure is not frowned upon but looked upon as a learning experience. We have a flat organization where you will have no boss or direct reports. Each task is based on core-competence and your desire to the Job: We are looking for Full-time Web Developers who will get to design architect and implement new features and optimize existing ones from controller-level to UI. The role requires working closely with and incorporating feedback from product managers interaction designers and back-end engineers. We use agile development methods like TDD BDD peer code reviews pair programming continuous deployment and integration. You will have to solve scalability problems keep the application running super fast and pro-actively look for ways to make the website better. Below are the Job Requirements: - Expertise in PHP5 AJAX MySQL JQuery Linux and Advanced HTML - Good knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Analysis (OOA & OOD) - Experience in MVC based architectures and PHP5 based frameworks - Knowledge of XML REST SOAP and JSON - Experience with JS library like Jquery YUI and CSS - Knowledge of Agile and SCRUM Development Methodologies - Knowledge of Cloud computing technologies Requirements: - Desire to learn and not afraid of experimenting or failing - Quick LearnerDesired Background: - Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science - 2-4 yrs experience in a strong technology company - Promising Freshers with proven skills can also apply Compensation & Perks: - Compensation will be based on merit and not number of years of experience - Fun work environment with flex-timing - Weekly Happy Hours - Dinner at leading restaurants for staff reviews (You will have to prove you know good food)
