Business and Economics Teacher

ROLE SUMMARY:

To Join in January 2026 we are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Diploma Programme Business Management and Economics to join the Secondary School Individuals & Societies (humanities) team. Business Management and Economics are the most popular optional subjects within our IB Diploma subject offering with nearly all students in any given cohort choosing to study one or the other.

The ability contribute to our co-curricula programme as well as to offer an additional subject within our Middle Years Programme may be considered as advantages.

Although Milan is a busy commercial centre the artistic and cultural heritage of Italy is prominent from galleries and theatres to its fame as a global centre for fashion design nightlife cuisine and lifestyle. There is a history of sporting excellence and its location near the mountains lakes and the Mediterranean Sea make it ideal for sporting activities as well as its renowned professional teams. ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS:

• to be in possession of a university degree in the subject and appropriate teaching qualification;
• to have had recent experience teaching the subject within the 16-19 age range (e.g. IB Diploma HL A-Levels AP);
• if possible but nit essential to be an EU passport holder or already be in possession of permit that allows work and residence in Italy;
• Previous experience with IB programmes is not required and official IB training will be offered together with relocation assistance and help with the apartment search.
