Required Qualifications:
National Certification from an accredited school
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care Nurse Practitioner/APRN role
Experience providing primary care to a pediatric and adult population
Current National Certification and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
License to practice independently in Utah
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Spanish
EPIC personality (empathy patience integrity and compassion)
Job Description
Delivering pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric healthcare and patient management
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
Prescribing and in some cases dispensing medications
Educating patients and/or families about preventive care medical issues and the use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications
Monitoring the effectiveness of interventions
Recording medical histories and conducting physical exams
Adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
Operating basic medical equipment and instruments
Performing minor procedures such as suturing casting and other minor procedures
Attending events in the community for new patient acquisition and growth
Adhering to all HIPAA protocols clinical guidelines and company policies and procedures
Participating in team meetings education conferences and special projects
