Security Officer
Location: Billerica MA
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
We are seeking reliable and vigilant Security Officers to join our team at a corporate client site in Billerica MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people property and premises. This includes monitoring surveillance systems patrolling the premises enforcing security policies and responding to incidents or emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety of the premises
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
Control access to buildings and restricted areas
Respond to alarms emergencies and incidents such as theft vandalism or unauthorized access
Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities
Conduct security checks and inspections of doors windows and gates
Provide assistance and direction to visitors staff and contractors
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
Maintain a high level of visibility and act as a deterrent to criminal activity
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a security officer or similar role preferred
Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to remain calm and act effectively in stressful situations
Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods
Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus
