OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing software development projects within the healthcare and human services industry. This role requires strong project management skills excellent communication abilities and a deep understanding of healthcare software development and implementation.
- Lead and manage software development projects from initiation to completion ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and within budget
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives requirements and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines milestones and resource allocation
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams including developers designers and QA to ensure successful project execution
- Monitor project progress identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and best practices in healthcare software development
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Project Management Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent demands
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role within the healthcare software industry
- Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g. Microsoft Project Jira Zendesk)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in healthcare software development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters degree in Project Management Information Technology or a related field
- Experience with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g. HIPAA)
