This role is designed to support English Learners at Responsibilities:Student Support: Assist newcomer students with integration into the school environment. Make connections with counselors families teachers staff as is : Facilitate communication between students teachers and families to ensure academic Utilization: Support ELs in the use of tools like Google Classroom and Google Translate to support Sensitivity: Promote an inclusive and supportive environment for students from diverse Advanced Courses and College Promise courses: -Increase awareness for ELs about these courses. -Identify barriers to increasing enrollment in these courses.-Help them take prerequisite courses if needed to enroll in these courses. -Work with counselors to support ELs enrolling in these courses.-Provide tutoring for ELs as other duties that may be assigned by the EL Supervisor Director of Assessment and Accountability or Superintendent of :ESL Licensure preferredExperience working with English LearnersStrong interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with educational technology platformsGrant funded$42.50 per hour up to 5 hours per week (not to exceed 180 hours; ends June 30 2026)
