About the role:
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled Placement Accountant to join our Finance Team supporting the Childrens Social Care service. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the effective management of placement budgets of approximately 56m a year and to make a positive impact on outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate should have:
strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data clearly often to non-Finance experts.
Excellent communication skills to be able to build constructive relationships with managers and non-finance colleagues
a proactive and solution-focused approach to financial management.
Experience of budget monitoring and forecasting ideally within a public sector or social care environment.
Familiarity with the Mosaic Financials system (desirable).
