WHAT WE OFFER
Full-time 1-Year Term Fredericton On-Campus
Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri 8:15 am - 4:30 pm 36.25 hours per week
Salary Range: $46251 - $57812 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Manager Communication & Conversion the Outreach Communication & Recruitment Officer manages and executes a faculty-focused recruitment communication plan to attract recruit and convert domestic and international students (undergraduate and graduate) to UNB. This position works closely with the other members of the Student Recruitment Communication & Conversion team Recruitment CRM team Student Recruitment team and all UNB Faculties on both campuses.
- Develop and execute Student Recruitments faculty and program communications plan for prospective students and applicants (domestic and international undergraduate and graduate).
- Increase awareness of UNB faculties and programs encourage progression through the recruitment funnel and highlight areas with capacity for growth.
- Collaborate with each UNB faculty to create engaging content for digital social email marketing and print campaigns.
- Conduct monthly outreach with faculties to stay informed of changes updates opportunities and new initiatives.
- Work with the Student Recruitment team to ensure all programs are highlighted and represented in ways relevant to key stakeholders.
- Partner with the Communication & Conversion team to develop creative assets.
- Collaborate with the Recruitment CRM to develop and curate content for DiscoverUNB News and automated faculty campaigns expanding campaigns to include multi-step plans value-added content and strong calls-to-action.
- Build and monitor communication campaign workflows within CRM Recruit.
- Develop implement and monitor text message campaign workflows for faculty-based communication plans.
- Work with the Recruitment Marketing Officer to maintain and enhance recruitment-owned faculty and program web resources including webpages and external partner platforms (IDP Connect StudentBridge etc.).
- Conduct regular content audits of program pages write new web content and apply marketing and web best practices to ensure clear accurate and engaging information.
- Assist in organizing faculty-based events within Student Recruitments Fall Winter and Spring event series collaborating closely with faculties and departments for in-person and virtual events.
- Meet with faculty recruiters and representatives to coordinate messaging creative assets and scheduling.
- Collaborate with Client Service Student Recruiters and the Communication & Conversion team to implement event series create assets and moderate live-virtual events.
- Support the Manager Communication & Conversion in developing and implementing a coordinated conversion strategy that aligns recruitment efforts with each UNB Faculty.
- Assist faculties and departments with independent outreach initiatives.
- Research and monitor other universities to maintain a strong understanding of competition in the marketplace.
- Represent Recruitment on committees as required.
- Stay current on industry standards practices and competitor activity.
WHAT YOU BRING
- University degree in marketing or a related field.
- Two years direct experience n marketing graphic design publication production and/or project management.
- A combination of experience and education may be considered.
Additional Strengths
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional and virtual teams.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft clear engaging communications for diverse audiences across multiple channels.
- Experience in digital marketing with knowledge of tools and technologies such as web content management systems graphic design HTML social media platforms (e.g. Facebook Instagram Snapchat Twitter) and Google Analytics.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively.
- Strong administrative skills including time management and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with tact diplomacy and professionalism.
- Ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- Capacity to plan and work independently while contributing as part of a larger team.
- Advanced computing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of UNB and its program offerings considered an asset.
