We Are Hiring:Charge Nurse CN II - Day Surgery - Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital - Full Time

The Day Surgery Unit is a 23 bed Outpatient/Ambulatory Surgery unit. The staff provide pre and post operative/procedural care to Surgery Interventional Radiology Cath lab GI and a select populations of Radiology patients receiving anesthesia services. An average of 15 patients per day begin in day surgery with the majority of patients being discharged the day of their procedure and some admitted to critical or inpatient units.

Schedule Details:0600-1630 4/10 hour shifts a week both staffing and charge RN responsibilities.

No holidays/weekends

ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospitalserves on average 2500 patients annually; within the 23 Day Surgery patient care rooms 8 Operating Room suites and 8 Post-Anesthesia recovery bays. Surgical Services embraces a collaborative approach for treating a patients injury or illness. Care is delivered by our skilled clinical team and integrated ancillary support team; which provides all levels of clinical assistance maintaining a high quality care and patient safety. The Surgical Services arena encompasses Orthopedics General & Vascular Gynecology Podiatry Urology and Ophthalmology surgical procedures. The Day Surgery department is an outpatient surgical unit that provides care before and after surgery heart catherization procedures radiology procedures and GI procedures. Although the majority of patients are discharged the day of their procedure some are admitted to critical or acute care units. ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial is certified by The Joint Commission as a Joint Replacement Center of Excellence. Offers the MAKOplasty and Anterior Hip Arthroplasty procedure to patients.
