Description
The University of Lynchburg a private regional university located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in central Virginia is seeking a temporary non-exempt Dining Services Team Member to join our Dining Services team.
Job Type: Temporary Non-Exempt
Work Remotely: No
Schedule: Based off events (Subject to change)
Job Purpose: Provides Scheduled or as needed assistance in food production and/or service areas for dining operations.
Specific Job Duties:
- Ensures highest levels of sanitation in food preparation serving standards and serving
area to exceed expectations of the Virginia Health Department.
- Provides coverage or assistance as needed in Dining Services to include but not limited to: pantry beverage menu production service dish room pot wash and catering.
- Performs any other related duties as may be required.
Physical Demands: Lifting 25 lbs Prolong Standing
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Either previous experience in a service position in a fine dining commercial or noncommercial restaurant operation is desired.
