Your work environment at EXP
In this role you will be a part of the Mechanical Design Engineering team based in our San Diego office.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Work with engineers to achieve project results timely and accurately.
- Generate drawings from engineers markups using REVIT.
- Utilize HVAC load calculation software to achieve meaningful results.
- Efficiently research codes references standards to assist engineers.
- Generate handwritten calculations and other hand done engineering task assignments.
What your experience looks like
- At Least Sophomore status in an accredited Bachelors Degree Program in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Fluent in engineering problem solving.
- Can communicate ideas and concepts well.
- Has interest in the HVAC consulting industry.
- Comfortable and fluent in basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
- Is a self-starter and results oriented.
- Organized on a daily basis.
- Personable in working with colleagues.
- A level of understanding and experience in CAD/3-D skills.
The pay rate for this role is $20 - $25 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
