About the Role
True North is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll/Benefits Manager to join our team. This role will manage bi-monthly payroll processing and support key functions including onboarding benefits coordination and employee records compliance. The ideal candidate has experience with Paylocity and thrives in a tech-enabled mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
Payroll
Process bi-monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees using Paylocity
Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll laws and internal policies
Audit timesheets track adjustments and coordinate pay changes
Prepare payroll reports and assist with annual filings including W-2s
HR Support
Act as the liaison between staff and benefits providers addressing employee questions and facilitating resolution of issues
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to onboard new hires and enter employee data into HRIS system
