Our company is looking for a full-time Maintenance Floater with experience in the industry. Under the direct supervision of the Chief Building Engineer or Account Manager-Engineering the Maintenance Floater will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures in addition to performing grounds maintenance. Candidates must have a valid drivers license reliable vehicle previous hands-on maintenance experience light plumbing electricalHVAC carpentry and painting experience is required. All work will be done in compliance with EPA Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs: painting drywall plumbing electrical mechanical and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and grounds maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers vendors customers etc.
- Drive to different locations to provide coverage
- Able to lift push pull a minimum of 50lbs up to 75lbs walk bend stretch during shift
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
- Create and maintain work orders
- Create and maintain purchase orders
- Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM)supervisor/property management
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must pass background check
- High school diploma/GED
- Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Must have basic hand tools
- General preventative maintenance experience is required (Basic commercial plumbing electricalHVAC carpentry painting and drywall)
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Must have good public relations skills and communication
- Customer service oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Applicants must perform basic manual labor clean common areas frequently lift press push pull carry a minimum of 50lbs (up to 75lbs) be able to reach overhead grasp objects bend kneel crawl squat climb stretch walk walk up and down a stairway climb up/down a ladder and stand throughout their shift.
- Willingness to learn and improve
Schedule:Variable Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am - 8:30pm (5 days 40 hours a week)
**Must have open availability subjective to emergencies: after hours weekends and holidays**
Compensation:$25/per hour
