TECHNICIAN MAINTENANCE Mechanical - 1st Shift
Mechanically troubleshoot and repair our various types of machine tools including mills lathes machining centers as well as cranes and other facility equipment. Assist in installation or moving mills lathes and machining centers. Perform electrical repairs on machine tool controls and drives. Assist with installation of telephones network systems security systems and facility electrical systems. Assist with maintenance and repairs on facility HVAC systems and other types of refrigeration equipment. Perform maintenance and repair on facility air systems including air compressors and air dryers. Handle all types of maintenance to building grounds and facility. Other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to read and understand complex schematic diagrams equipment manuals engineering drawings and other manufacturer information
- Industrial maintenance experience including mechanical HVAC electrical PLC experience
- Must be able to work individually with little Supervision and also work well in a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in industrial maintenance HVAC electrical or relevant course of study
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT)certification
- Electrical Technician Certification
- PLC Technician and Maintenance Certifications
- Knowledge of CMMS software
- Knowledge of overhead cranes and hoists
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Steel toed safety shoes and safety glasses are required
- Work can be strenuous such as pulling on torque wrenches crawling inside or on top of machines bending or lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must be capable of climbing steps ladders and operate a man lift to perform work at elevated heights
- Must be conscious of personal safety and how duties performed affect the safety of others
SCHEDULE
- Standard 8-hour shifts 150% paid anytime over 8 hours daily hours over 45 in a week are paid as double time
- Shift availability standard schedules shown below
- First Shift 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Monday - Friday
- Second Shift 3:30 PM 12:00 AM Monday Friday 12.5% Shift Premium
- Third Shift 11:00 PM 7:00 AM Sunday Thursday 7.5% Shift Premium
