At Kairos all teachers are leadersyoull not only teach your content area but also take on wholeschool service roles that shape our culture strengthen student development and deepen connections with families and the broader community. Key Responsibilities:- Rigorous Instruction & Curriculum
- Teachfour sections of 9thgrade and two sections of 10thgrade College and Career prep implementing the provided curriculum with 100% fidelity.
- Complete and submit lesson internalizations for every unit and communicate pacing or content concerns to the College and Career team.
- DataDriven Practice
- Maintain uptodate student data and grades; use these to monitor progress and differentiate supports.
- Student & Family Engagement
- Communicate regularly with families via email calls and conferences about student progress and next steps.
- Experiential Learning & Logistics
- Coordinate and chaperone College and Career team employer site visits and professionalskills simulations.
- Attend all College & Career professional development and weekly planning meetings with the College and Career team.
- WholeSchool Leadership
- Serve in a schoolwide service role (e.g. GradeLevel Lead Tutoring Lead) to reinforce Kairos values and support crossdepartmental initiatives.
Driver Goals:- 100% Curriculum Fidelity: Ensure every lesson is delivered as designed.
- Student Pathway Clarity: 90% of students articulate a clear postsecondary goal by years end.
- Employer Engagement: Coordinate at least 3 authentic site visits per grade level.
- Family Partnership: 85% family outreach completion for progress discussions.

Qualifications:- Bachelors degree required (Masters preferred)
- At least2 years of teaching experience in TitleI schools
- Experience working with diverse age groups and skill levels
- Valid Missouri Substitute Certification (required)
- Valid Missouri Teacher Certification is strongly preferred or willing to obtain promptly
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills
- Background check clearance; reliable attendance (within PTO allotment)
- Eligible to work for any employer in the United States
Technology & Safety:- Proficiency with Microsoft Office student information systems and digital platforms
- Commitment to school safety protocols and emergency procedures
Physical Demands: - Ability to occasionally exert 20-50 pounds frequently exert 10-25 pounds
- Comfortable using instructional technology extensively throughout the day
- Mobility and stamina to supervise instruct and support students actively
- This is not a remote positionall Kairos teachers deliver instruction in-person and onsite at our St. Louis campus.
Compensation and Benefits:- Base Salary for certified teachers with experience starts at: $60000
