Job Summary
The Revenue Cycle Management Team Lead will oversee day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle team with a primary focus on optimizing workflows within the Athena EMR platform. This role ensures accurate charge capture claims submission payment posting denial management and compliance with federal state and payer-specific guidelines. The Team Lead will act as a subject matter expert in both Athena EMR functionality and revenue cycle best practices driving performance improvements and staff development to maximize efficiency and financial outcomes.
Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business or related field preferred.
Minimum of 35 years in revenue cycle management with at least 12 years in a lead or supervisory role.
Hands-on experience with Athena EMR (billing reporting workflows) required.
Strong knowledge of healthcare billing coding payer regulations and reimbursement methodologies.
Expertisein revenue cycle KPIs and best practices.
Excellent communication problem-solving and leadership skills.
