Position Information

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Department: Operations Planning Team

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain records related to parts delivery and operational data.

• Input operation data related to the equipment and the drivers status.

• Record and update business performance and safety status information.

• Prepare reports and maintain official ledgers.

• Compile and organize performance data for carrier evaluation.

• Support the preparation and management of statistical data for internal reporting.

• Perform additional administrative tasks associated with logistics and transportation data management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Prior experience in transportation logistics or related fields (preferred)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong typing and documentation skills to support accurate reporting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for inter-company collaboration

• Proven ability to manage time effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy

This role routinely uses standard office equipment including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting typing and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and transport items. The estimated base salary range for the Transportation Operations Specialist is $55700-$61600.The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to specific skills or certifications years of experience market changes and required travel.
