Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
Collaboratewith business and functional partners as well as technology leadership across SBU and Platform teams to define functionality and specify requirements.
Outlinea multi-generational project strategy as a Release Train Engineer at a solution level following the Scaled Agile Framework to achieve the expected outcomes.
Organizeproject teams across different regions comprising cross-functional technical experts based on budget scope and timeline.
Coordinatethe execution and adoption of common platform releases across multiple modality programs driving a shared approach and tracking outcomes.
Workwith technical teams often including members from separate organizations (e.g. Infrastructure IT Software Build Tools) to coordinate day-to-day execution according to the outlined plan.
Supportthe execution team by resolving roadblocks and interdependencies and partner with external technical and functional teams to ensure their tasks are completed as required.
Manageproject risks scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the project lifecycle.
Communicatewith stakeholders and report progress at various organizational levels including leadership and executives.
Cooperatewith and manage external vendors as needed.
Ensureadherence to pre-defined project management processes and practices driving simplification and improvement as necessary.
Mentorjunior team members to foster a healthy execution practice within the team.
Education Qualification:
Required Skills:
18 years of work experiencewith hands-on exposure to the software development lifecycle.
Minimum 4 years of program management experiencehandling multiple teams within or across organizations.
Experience with DevOps toolssuch as Git Maven Ant Bamboo Jenkins.
Experience in SecOps.
Desired Characteristics:
Proven experienceusing project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change.
Strong understandingof various project and portfolio management methodologies with a track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations.
Leadership skillswith the ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to achieve shared goals.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with all levels of an organization.
Self-starterwho requires minimal direction to accomplish goals.
Strong interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training job experience and/or industry activities.
Team playerwho collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources.
Experience working globallywith others.
Change-oriented actively generating process improvements championing and driving change initiatives confronting difficult circumstances creatively balancing multiple and competing priorities and executing accordingly.
Certificationssuch as PMP SAFe ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications.
