Johannesburg (hybrid) R800-R900PH 12-month Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer to gain advanced DevOps expertise while designing and delivering cloud-enabled integrations for one of South Africas largest and most complex investment managers.

THE COMPANY:

This company is one of South Africas largest investment managers overseeing more than R600 billion in assets across institutional and retail clients. With a strong presence locally and across key African markets they combine disciplined investment practices with ongoing investment in cloud and data platforms to enhance their trading risk and analytics functions.

THE ROLE:

As a Software Engineer you will design build test and maintain cloud-enabled solutions that connect the companys core business systems and data platforms. This role offers the opportunity to deliver enterprise-scale integrations within one of South Africas largest and most complex investment environments.

You will work with Linx (C#) and SQL Server in a cloud-enabled environment supported by established DevOps practices including CI/CD Infrastructure as Code and structured testing.

Across the full development lifecycle youll design data flows and implementation strategies code test deploy and support solutions post go-live. You will also contribute to solution design mentor junior engineers and collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

BSc in Computer Science BCom Informatics or a related degree

6 years of relevant software development experience

Proven experience with Linx and Stadium (v4/5/6) or equivalent low-code integration platforms such as OutSystems Mendix Power Platform Boomi WSO2

Strong debugging DevOps testing (unit regression integration) and application delivery skills

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver coded solutions

Tech stack: Linx Stadium (v46) / (C#) SQL Server AWS/Azure
