What You Will Do
In this role you will act as the connection between planning production logistics and suppliers taking care of:
Ensuring the availability of raw materials (pack material core board) required for production and deliveries avoiding production stops and delays.
Monitoring daily requirements through SAP (MRP) placing purchase orders and constantly checking stock levels to maintain the optimal balance between availability and working capital.
Managing raw material purchases in line with company targets optimizing resources and costs.
Coordinating supply to external outsourcers supporting production activities entrusted to third parties.
Communicating daily with internal teams planning production and warehouse ensuring accurate and timely information flow.
Creating and maintaining material master data in SAP including for new product launches.
Managing non-conforming and slow-moving materials working with the Quality department and other departments to determine the most appropriate disposition (return to supplier reuse disposal).
Controlling and managing consignment stock coordinating with suppliers and handling end-of-period closings to enable invoicing.
Supporting the availability of finished products in Italian and international warehouses based on sales forecasts and distribution lead times.
Ensuring data reliability in internal systems (SAP SOFI) contributing to the improvement of information quality and decision-making processes.
Who You Are
You are eager to grow in a key supply chain role and have 12 years of experience in planning or similar. We are particularly looking for someone who has:
A degree in Economics Management Engineering or related fields.
Strong IT skills especially advanced Excel.
Knowledge of SAP (logistics/planning modules) is a strong plus.
Good command of English and Italian both written and spoken.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Results-oriented approach and ability to work in a team.
Resilience and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to plan organize and manage priorities.
Openness to change and a continuous improvement mindset.
